Em Dead Fight, dois times — azul e vermelho — se enfrentam em uma arena misteriosa. O objetivo principal é destruir a pedra de energia da equipe adversária ou eliminar todos os jogadores do time oponente. Uma mecânica especial permite invadir o computador do rival, concedendo poder extra para quebrar a pedra de forma mais eficiente. A agilidade é essencial: é preciso se mover rapidamente pelo cenário para neutralizar os oponentes antes que eles façam o mesmo com você.

Dead Fight oferece modos para um ou dois jogadores. No modo single player, você controla um dos times contra a inteligência artificial; já no modo para dois, amigos podem disputar lado a lado no mesmo teclado. Os controles são divididos: o time vermelho usa as teclas A, W, D para se movimentar, TAB para trocar de personagem, CTRL para invadir o computador e ESPAÇO para atacar. Já o time azul utiliza as SETAS DIRECIONAIS para locomoção, NUM0 para ataque e NUM1 para invasão. Para alternar o personagem do time azul, não há tecla específica — o jogo gerencia essa troca automaticamente.

Para aprender a jogar Dead Fight, basta reunir um amigo ou encarar a CPU. A dinâmica é simples, mas exige estratégia: enquanto um time tenta quebrar a pedra, o outro precisa defender e contra-atacar.
